"What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it." |

An epitome of Bell's no boundaries mind set:
The Story of Bell & Ben Alexander Graham Bell and his friend, Ben, played a lot at a flour mill that Ben’s father, John Hardman owned. Everytime, they would create a mess playing there and finally the day came where Hardman scolded them for doing so. During the scolding Hardman had said “Now boys, why don’t you do something useful?” Being Bell as he was, the question was taken under consideration. Bell and Ben came back one day with a dehusking machine, a device Hardman had been yearning for. “The achievement of one goal should be the starting point of another.” |
Bell was intrigued and motivated by the fact that the dehusking machine actually worked. So, began his steps into the world of innovating. Although Bell was unsure in which direction to travel, he knew to just keep moving forward from there on.
